Drivers with 'blacked out windows' have been spotted in and around Kimberley - and police have stepped up patrols over reports of anti-social behaviour. As part of the operation, officers visited the Hall Om Wong park, in Eastwood Road.
People on the park have been speaking about issues they were aware of. And they said they have seen young drivers doing the rounds with 'blacked out windows'.
Sue Brown, who was visiting the park alongside husband Kevin and her grandchildren, said she’d seen groups of teenagers around the park. Mrs Brown said: “I have noticed previously cars parked around here and teenagers hanging around, with blacked out windows. We’ve been here with our other grandchildren and they loved it and want to come back, it’s got the park and it’s an open space.”

Dog walkers and families in the park also said they occasionally saw glass on the park and groups. Childminder Carly Nazar said that it was generally a good park but that she was aware of some vandalism.
The 36-year-old said: “It’s quite a good park, lots of things for different ages. We've been here for the last hour, no teenagers, just families. There’s a bit of graffiti in the kids' park.”
Nick Freeman, who often walks his dog on the park, said he was aware of glass but that he was surprised patrols had been stepped up.
Mr Freeman said: “I had seen the post [from police on Facebook], I’ve not seen any anti-social behaviour at all. You occasionally see a bit of glass. I don’t know where that suggestion has come from. I’ve never seen anything anti-social.”
In a recent statement on Facebook, Broxtowe North Police said: "Police officers from your Neighbourhood Policing Team have been patrolling the parks over the last few days in Kimberley after recent concerns of Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) in the area."
