Police officer sent death threats and forced to relocate over Henry Nowak murder

Henry Nowak Police Murder Shabana Mahmood

A police officer , wrongly identified online in connection with the murder of Henry Nowak , has received death threats and been forced to relocate.
Home secretary Shabana Mahmood revealed this in the Commons, clarifying the officer was unrelated to the actual case.
The misidentification and threats arose from calls for 'vigilante justice' against officers involved in the case, with some having personal details published.
Footage shows 18-year-old Henry Nowak was handcuffed by police while dying after being stabbed by Vickrum Digwa.
Ms Mahmood condemned the 'horrifying' murder and warned against misinformation and inflammatory commentary dividing communities.
