A police officer was tearful as she confirmed the tragic death of an eight-year-old girl in the horror crash at a primary school today.
Metropolitan Police Detective Chief Superintendent Clair Kelland spoke at a press conference near The Study Prep School in Wimbledon on Thursday, July 6, after a Land Rover crashed into the building. She said the force's "thoughts are with the girl’s family and friends, and everyone affected today."
Cops confirmed that a woman had been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving following the incident, reports the Daily Mirror.
