Police are offering a £10,000 reward as they hunt a 22-year-old suspected of murdering a man in a west London cul-de-sac 10 months ago.
Construction worker Sean O’Neill, 30, died after being found with multiple stab wounds in Reynolds Road, Hayes, around 6.50pm on May 18.
Scotland Yard on Tuesday issued a photo of Dellan Charles, 22, who they are treating as a suspect in the murder.
A £10,000 reward is available for information that leads to Charles’ arrest and conviction, said the Met.
Police and paramedics rushed to Reynolds Road after Mr O’Neill was found there in May last year, but despite their efforts to save him he was pronounced dead at the scene.
A post-mortem later confirmed his death was caused by “sharp force trauma to the chest and abdomen”.
Detective Inspector Kevin Martin, who is leading the investigation, said on Tuesday: “I am appealing to the public for help in locating Dellan Charles who we are treating as a suspect in Sean’s murder.
“Sean’s family have been left devastated by his murder and the longer that passes without those responsible being held to account, the more their pain grows.
“A significant reward is on offer for anyone who can provide information that leads us to Charles and secures his conviction; if you can help please get in contact immediately on 020 8785 8244.”
In a statement, Mr O’Neill’s family previously said: “We are completely heartbroken by the loss of our beautiful son and brother, Sean.
“It is especially difficult given the violent and cruel way that it has happened. He was incredibly loved and we have been overwhelmed by all of the kind words that have been shared about him from those who knew him.”
Other friends and loved ones paid tribute to the Chelsea fan, with one telling the Standard: “He always had a heart of gold and he loved a laugh. He was kind and knew how to pick you up if you were ever down.”
Another friend said Mr O’Neill “had the purest soul and had a smile that could light up every room”.
