A 58-year-old man who tragically died at the scene of a crash between a car and a bus on the A77 has been named.
John Rae from Girvan was killed after his white MG was involved in a smash with a blue and white Volvo bus around 10.30pm last night.
Emergency services raced to the scene on the stretch of road between Girvan and Turnberry.
