A man is wanted in connection with a slashing in Liverpool One just days before Christmas last year.
Merseyside Police has released an appeal for a man who they want to talk to after another man in his 20s was assaulted on Paradise Street in Liverpool One outside JD Sports at around 6.30pm on Wednesday, December 22 last year. The victim was reported to have been taken to hospital with a "deep" slash across his face at the time and is now believed to be recovering.
Following extensive enquiries and a CCTV appeal shortly after New Year, police wish to trace Keelan McKenna, from Liverpool, in connection with their investigation. McKenna is described as a white male, 5ft 6in tall, of slim build, with dark brown hair and blue eyes. He speaks with a Liverpool accent.

Detective Inspector David Jones said at the time: "This man has suffered a serious injury that has left him with a deep lasting scar across his face. Thankfully he is now recovering at home, but this was still a horrible unprovoked attack that no one should go through when shopping in Liverpool."
He is also believed to have links to Kirkdale. If you see McKenna or have any information on his whereabouts, please contact Merseyside Police via its social media desk on Twitter @MerpolCC or Facebook ‘Merseyside Police Contact Centre’ with reference 21000883233.
