Police are searching for a man last seen clambering over security gates onto a pier overhanging the River Thames.
The man, in a brown overcoat, was captured on security cameras sidestepping his way around a spiked security gate to access Crown Pier in Victoria Embankment at 2.30am on November 16.
The pier walkway zig-zags downwards to the surface of the central London river.
He has not been seen since.
City of London detectives could not release any more information on the identity of the mystery man or whether he was with anyone else before vanishing.
A spokesman said: “Have you seen or do you know this man?
“Officers are concerned for the welfare of a man last seen on 16 November at around 2.30am near Crown Pier, Victoria Embankment.”
Crown Pier is located on the north side of the River Thames, just along from Blackfriars railway station. It is a privately owned pier which operates River cruises and party boats.
