Police launch urgent search for missing boy, 10, last seen 12 hours ago near Dover

Police in Kent have launched an urgent hunt for a 10-year old boy who has been missing for more than 12 hours.

Archie Sayers, from Snowdown near Dover was last seen at around 4:30pm on Friday (June 9), reports Kent Live.

Kent Police say the youngster's last known location was near Aylesham Road, and he could now be in Aylesham itself.

The force has shared a photo and description of Archie on social media, and urged anyone who seems him to dial 999 immediately.

He is described as being slim, around 4ft 6in with short brown hair. He was last seen wearing a white school shirt and black Adidas trousers with a white stripe.

A police appeal said: "Kent Police is appealing for information into the whereabouts of a missing boy from Snowdown near Dover. Archie Sayer, 10, was last seen near Aylesham Road at around 4.30pm on Friday 9 June 2023.

"Officers are urging anyone who sees him or who knows where he is to call the police. They believe he could also been in Aylesham.

"Please call 999 quoting reference 09-1172 if you can help."
