Officers have launched an urgent appeal to help find a missing 37-year-old man from County Durham.
Mark Shield was last seen at his home on Langdon Close, Consett, at around 7.40pm on Wednesday, September 14. Officers have since issued an appeal on social media urging anyone with information on Mark's location to get in touch with the force.
Police said he is described as around 5ft7 of medium build, with dark brown hair, and may be wearing jeans and a black top. He is believed to be driving his white ’12 plate Nissan Qashqai and has strong links to the Consett and Derwentside areas.

A spokesperson for Consett Police said: "Have you seen missing Mark Shield? Mark was last seen at his home on Langdon Close, Consett, at around 7.40pm today (Wednesday, September 14).
"The 37-year-old is described as around 5ft7 of medium build, with dark brown hair, and may be wearing jeans and a black top. He is believed to be driving his white ’12 plate Nissan Qashqai, and has strong links to the Consett and Derwentside areas.
"Anybody who believes they may have seen Mark, or has information relating to his whereabouts, is asked to contact Durham Police on 101."
