Police launch probe into 'hit and run' after man was struck by campervan near Doune

An investigation is underway into an accident on a stretch of road near Doune which saw a campervan collide with a pedestrian.

The incident took place on the A84 near the town on Sunday and involved a white Ford campervan - with the driver of the vehicle failing to stop or report the crash.

Police are now conducting enquiries into the circumstances of the incident, including asking for witnesses or those with dash cam footage which could assist to come forward.

It's understood that the incident was a minor collision, where the man's arm was struck by the wing mirror of the campervan. He did not require medical treatment.
