Police launch probe after spate of break-ins across West Dunbartonshire and Helensburgh

Helensburgh

Police are appealing for witnesses following a string of housebreakings and attempted break-ins in Alexandria, Balloch and Helensburgh.

Thieves made off with cash, designer handbags and jewellery during the break-ins, with police saying they believe the properties may have been specifically targeted.

The incidents took place at four addresses between Friday, March 11 and Sunday, March 13.
