Cops have launched a hunt for a man they are eager to talk to in connection with an incident inside an Ayr supermarket earlier this year.
Police have today released an image of a man they believe may be able to assist their probe into an incident which took place within Tesco on Whitletts Road.
The incident occurred around 10pm on Tuesday, April 18.
The image released shows the man near to self-scan checkouts inside the megastore.
The man pictured is described as white, approximately 6 feet with an average build and wearing black trousers, a black Puma t-shirt and a black baseball cap.
Constable James McAllister said: “We are eager to talk to the male in this image and would ask him or anyone who may recognise him to get in touch as soon as possible”.
"Anyone with any information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 4121 of 18 April 2023, or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where information can be passed anonymously.”
