Police launch frantic search for teen boy who vanished three days ago in Scots town

Cops have launched a frantic search after a teenage boy vanished three days ago.

Officers say that Corey Weallans, 15, has been reported missing from Airdrie, North Lanarkshire and was last seen at about 4am on Sunday, February, 12.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to contact Police Scotland.

Corey is descried as 5'7", fair/blond hair, stocky build, fair complexion.

When he was last seen he was wearing a grey Nike jacket, cream Nike fleece, black jogging bottoms and grey Nike Air Max trainers.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Anyone who may have seen Cory since this time, or who has any information which may assist us with enquiries, is urged to contact Police Scotland via 101 quoting incident 2978 of 13th February 2023."
