As the run-up to Christmas draws nearer, many people in Merseyside will be getting their Christmas shopping in for family and friends. In their rush they may forget to lock their car doors or chance it as they will only be a few minutes in the shop.
However, Merseyside Police said the festive season is the perfect time to provide criminals with opportunities. For those who might need a much-needed rest from carrying their shopping, officers have warned people to keep their bags out of sight and lock their doors.
