Detectives have issued an urgent appeal after gunshots were fired outside a nightclub in West Kensington.
Witnesses reported hearing shots fired after a verbal altercation involving a group outside a nightclub in Russell Gardens at around 4am on Sunday.
One witness told the Standard that an argument broke out within minutes of the unnamed nightclub closing.
He explained that a man shot into the air during the argument “possibly to scare” people.
He said: “It was just the one guy. [During] some argument he shot up in the air. There was no fighting or a big mess. One guy went crazy.
“There was arguing and shouting. The venue had closed the door 10 minutes before. It happened in a few minutes after the people left. It was a big argument with big shouting.”
The Met Police said all those involved left the scene before officers arrived.
Police attended the scene and during a search of the location, casings were found.
A crime scene remains in place while the police investigations continue.
There have been no reports of any injuries.
