A body found by police investigating the murder of pregnant teacher Marelle Sturrock has been formally identified as her partner David Yates.
Officers had been searching for the man who they believed was connected to her death. Police Scotland said the 36-year-old man's body was discovered during a search of Mugdock Reservoir.
His death is reportedly not being treated as suspicious. While an investigation remains ongoing, police said there is nothing to suggest that anyone else was involved in her death.

Marelle, who was a 35-year-old teacher at Glasgow’s Sandwood Primary School, lived with fiancé Mr Yates, with the pair getting engaged in 2015. The school sent out a letter to staff and parents of pupils of the passing of the 'beloved member of our teaching staff".
The night before her body was found Marelle shared a photo on social media where she was seen smiling with friends at a restaurant. Marelle was found dead at her home on Jura Street, Glasgow on Tuesday, April 25.
Officers continue to provide specialist support to both families.
