Officers investigating a suspected attempted burglary at a house in Newcastle have released an image of a man they would like to speak to.
At around 11.30pm on Tuesday, March 7, Northumbria Police received a report that a man had tried the handle of the door of an home on Grace Street, in Byker.
The man then rang the doorbell and continued to pull on the door handle in an attempt to enter the home.

He was then disturbed by people from inside shouting and made off from the scene.
Police have today released an image of a man who they would like to speak to in connection with the incident.
He was in the area at the time and may be able to assist officers with their enquiries.
