Police have issued an urgent appeal for help finding a teenager who is believed to be hundreds of miles from his home county. Greater Manchester Police says missing Argjend Lika is believed to be in the Wigan area.
The 16-year-old is originally from more than 200 miles away, in Kent. GMP has today (January 9) released an image of Argjend along with an appeal for help finding him.
The force says its officers are becoming 'increasingly concerned' for the teenager's wellbeing. Anyone who sees Argjend or has information on the youngster's whereabouts is urged to contact GMP as soon as possible.
In a post on Facebook, a spokesperson for GMP Wigan West wrote: "Can you help police find a missing child originally from Kent but believed to be in Wigan area? Officers are becoming increasingly concerned about Argjend Lika, 16, and want to make sure he is safe and well."
Anyone with information about Argjend’s whereabouts us urged to contact police on 101, using the missing reference number MSP/06LL/0003363/22. GMP can also be contacted online.
