Police are hunting two creeps after two women were sexually harassed in separate incidents near a Scots beauty spot.
Officers have been made aware of the unwanted encounters, which both took place near Broadwood Loch in Cumbernauld, North Lanarkshire. The first victim was approached by a man on Wednesday, June 27, who made inappropriate comments toward her.
One month later, a separate woman was targeted as she followed a woodland trail nearby. She had been walking near Broadwood Loch at 10am yesterday when a man confronted her and made sexual comments towards her before fleeing the scene.
Neither of the culprits were traced. Officers say enquires into both incidents remain ongoing, but it is understood they are not being treated as linked.
A Police Scotland said: "There was an incident on Monday, June 27, whereby a woman reported that she had been approached in Craiglinn Park Road, Cumbernauld, by a man who made inappropriate comments to her. Enquiries into the incident are ongoing."
The spokesperson added: "At 10am on Thursday, July 28, police were called following a report that a man had made inappropriate sexual comments to a women walking along a woodland trail near Broadwood Loch, Cumbernauld, before walking off.
"The woman was upset by the comments and contacted police. Despite a search of the area by officers, the man was not traced, however, inquiries are ongoing to identify him."
