Police are trying to find a bride - after a wedding dress was found dumped at the side of the road. Police in Portsmouth posted a picture of the dress discovered next to the A3 near junction 4 at Purbrook in Hampshire.
The dress, along with a box of 'wedding mementos' were found on Thursday. Officers of Hampshire constabulary say they are looking after the dress while waiting for the owner to re-claim the box.
Posting on Facebook Portsmouth Police wrote: "Do you recognise this wedding dress? We were called to clear some debris off of the southbound A3 this morning, just past junction 4, and found what appears to be a wedding memento box - including a wedding dress.
"We kept hold of it in case someone was hoping to be reunited with their items. If the box is yours, please call us on 101 with reference 44230248325. Proof of ownership will be required."
