Police are hunting the family of a man who collapsed in a city centre street. Anthony Stephen Turner, 66, tragically died on September 29. He was found on Silver Street, near Piccadilly.
Officers in the city division say there are ‘no suspicious circumstances’ surrounding his passing. Now, they are trying to locate his next of kin.

A tweet from GMP’s city centre division launched the appeal for help. Posted at 3pm today (October 10), it said: “Can you help us locate the next of kin of a man found in the City Centre?
“Anthony Stephen Turner, 66, sadly passed away on September 29, 2022, after being found unresponsive on Silver Street. There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.”
Silver Street is a narrow, one-way street, which connects Minshull Street to Chorlton Street, and runs parallel to the popular bus route, Portland Street. Anyone with information is being asked to contact police on 0161 856 2334.
