Police hunt after £14k of camera equipment stolen in Montpelier

Police are attempting to track down two men after thieves stole £14,000 worth of camera equipment.

The items were taken from a shop on Station Road in Montpelier between 2.20pm and 2.45pm on Saturday, February 5. Police say that the offenders ran away in the direction of Cheltenham Road following the theft.

Officers are appealing for help to find the two men, described as white, with one wearing a dark blue jacket, light coloured jeans and a blue face mask, while the other was wearing blue clothing and a hat.

In a statement, Avon and Somerset Police said: "Do you recognise the men in this CCTV image? We want to speak to them about the theft of more than £14,000 worth of camera equipment from a store in Station Road, Montpelier, Bristol.

"The theft happened sometime between 2.20pm and 2.45pm on Saturday 5 February. The offenders ran off in the direction of Cheltenham Road following the incident. The men in the images are white, with one wearing a dark blue jacket, light coloured jeans and a blue face mask, while the other was wearing blue clothing and a hat.

"If you recognise either man, or have information which could help our investigation, please call us on 101 and give the call handler the reference number 5222029701."
