Police launched a frantic search for the pair, and urged anyone who may have seen Stephanie or Charlotte or have any information on their whereabouts to contact police via the non-emergency 101 number.

Concerns were also growing for their welfare.

However, today, officers confirmed that both Stephanie and Charlotte have been found safe and well.

They said the search has been stood down, and thanked the public for sharing and responding to their appeal.
