Merseyside Police have issued an update after officers smashed the windows of two city shops.
A number of Merseyside Police vans arrived at a row of shops on Jamaica Street in the Baltic Triangle on Friday, May 19. Once officers left the vans eyewitnesses reported how officers started smashing the windows of Baltic Dream and Sub City.
Police later put a cordon in place around the businesses, which are on the same row of shops, and were seen brushing up shattered glass off the pavement. Two police vans and a patrol car were seen parked up beside the cordon.
