Police have found the bodies of a man and a dog in the search for missing hillwalker Kyle Sambrook.
The 33-year-old, from West Yorkshire, had taken a wild camping and hiking trip to Glencoe with his beagle Bane on Saturday, February 18.
But Kyle did not return home on Tuesday, February 21, and had not been in touch with friends or family.
Police have now said they believe bodies discovered at 2.15pm today by Mountain Rescue Teams and HM Coastguard in the Glencoe Area are that of Kyle and Bane.
Kyle's family has been notified, and a formal ID will occur in due course.
A Police Scotland Spokesperson said: "The Family have thanked all involved in searching for Kyle and Bane and requested that their privacy be respected at this time.
"Our thoughts remain with Kyle’s family, and we support them at this difficult time."
