A man has been arrested in a garden after a police dog called Viper, firearms officers, and a force helicopter chased a suspect through Lancashire over the weekend.
Officers from Lancashire Police were scrambled after a Nissan Juke was reported stolen over the weekend by owners. Police spotted the stolen car and raced after it, chasing the driver before he crashed in Backburn.
According to Lancs Live, the man took off, and PD Viper raced after him, allegedly finding the man hiding behind a fence. He was detained in the garden after being tracked down.

Lancashire Police's dog unit tweeted about the incident on Sunday evening, alongside a picture from a police helicopter showing the police dog finding the man in a garden.
The tweet read: "Stolen Nissan Juke pursued and crashed in Blackburn," followed by three emojis of a man running.
"Lancs Tactical Ops catch [man running emoji]. PD Viper deployed, tracked to one [man running emoji] hiding behind fence.
"National Police Air Service North West attend capturing [man running emoji] attempting to flee followed by [man running emoji] being located in next garden. Great team work Lancashire Armed Response Vehicles."
