A car ended up crashing after a high speed chase by police. The driver had been spotted acting suspiciously in Rossett before the two-mile pursuit partly on country lanes.
Elliott Matthew Gibson, of Pen Y Bryn in Wrexham, had been under the influence of cannabis at the time, Mold Crown Court heard when he was sentenced last Thursday, as reported by NorthWalesLive.
The 19-year-old was told by a judge he was lucky not to have killed anybody as he was spared jail. Video footage was played to the court which showed Gibson driving off down Darland Lane, near Pulford, when the police switched on their blue lights.
