Police have confirmed that a body found near the River Taff on Tuesday, November 22, has been formally identified as that of a missing 18-year-old. Casey Coulton, from Aberdare, was last seen in the early hours of Sunday, November 13, following a house party with friends.
Officers were called to reports of a body near the River Taff in Abercynon at around 10.30am on Tuesday. They said an investigation was underway into the circumstances surrounding his death, which is being treated as unexplained. Tributes have been paid to Casey, who family and friends said "was a kindhearted, loving, selfless gentleman."
