Edinburgh Police have asked for the public’s help in their search for a teenager who has gone missing after arriving in the capital from Castle Douglas.
Angel McDaid is only 13 and officers are growing increasingly concerned for her welfare after she was last seen heading towards Dean Bridge at around 1.15pm on Sunday (March 19). She has links to the Drylaw and city centre areas, where she may have travelled by bus.
Police issued a description of Angel, which read: “She is white, 4ft tall, heavy build with medium length blonde/pink hair. When last seen, she was wearing a bright blue hoody, black jacket with a fur hood, black leggings and white Nike high-top trainers.”
