Police carry out 'extensive enquiries' for missing Fife man last seen in Aberdeenshire

Police are carrying out "extensive enquiries" amid increasing concern for a man missing since midnight.

Kieran Kirk, 50, is missing from Cupar, Fife, but was last seen in the Strathdon area of Aberdeenshire at around 12.40am on Friday, June 17.

He has been described as 5ft 11ins in height and of a medium build. Kieran has long, light-brown hair which is described as scruffy.

The 50-year-old was wearing all dark clothing along with black boots with screws on the front at the time of his disappearance.

Police are carrying out extensive, ongoing enquiries to trace Kieran, who has been known to travel considerable distances before.

He also camps out for extended periods of time and has previously been found in Cumbria and Suffolk.

Sergeant Andy Kirk of Police Scotland said “We are growing increasingly concerned for Kieran and it is important we trace him as soon as possible to ensure he is safe and well.

“If anyone has seen him or knows where he might be then please contact us 101, quoting reference number 0308 of Friday, 17 June, 2022.”
