Police called to Nicola Bulley's home 17 days before disappearance amid health concerns

Police attended Nicola Bulley's home 17 days before her disappearance, as detectives have revealed.

Lancashire Police, who are leading the search for the missing mum after she vanished on January 27, said the 45-year-old had struggled with alcohol issues as a result of "ongoing struggles with the menopause".

It comes after the force held a press conference on Wednesday morning where Assistant Chief Constable Peter Lawson and Detective Superintendent Becky Smith, leading the probe, said Nicola was a "high risk" missing person with "specific vulnerabilities".
