Police called to flat after sudden death of man in East Kilbride

Police were called to East Kilbride after the sudden death of a 51-year-old man on Thursday.

Emergency services attended a flat at Loch Shin and say a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.

It is understood the man my have lain undiscovered for more than two weeks.

A Police Scotland spokesperson told Lanarkshire Live: "Officers were called to a report of the sudden death of a 51-year-old man on Loch Shin, East Kilbride around 4pm on Thursday, June 2.

"There do not appear to be any suspicious circumstances and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
