Police are becoming 'increasingly concerned' for the safety of missing man Corry Ferguson who went missing from Saltcoats nearly a week ago.
Corry, 26, was last seen in a shop on Wheatley Road in the town at around 9.35am on Tuesday.
He is described as being around 6ft tall, of slim build, with brown hair and blue eyes.
He was last seen wearing a black parka jacket, a green hoody, grey jogging trousers, white trainers and a black baseball cap.
Cops say they are growing 'concerned' for Corry particularly as his family have been unable to get in touch with him since his disappearance.
They are also urging anyone with any information on his whereabouts to come forward.
Inspector Barry McNaught said: “We are becoming increasingly concerned for Corry as his family have not been able to contact him.
“We are keen to trace him as soon as possible and ensure he is safe and are appealing for the help of the public.
“Anyone with any information on Corry’s whereabouts or who has seen someone matching his description are asked to contact us.
“We would also appeal to Corry himself to get in touch.”
