Police remain at the scene of an "incident" where a cordon is in place.
Officers last night were responding to an incident at the junction of Maud Street and Madeleine Street in Toxteth. A cordon surrounding a corner of a path, which is next to a house, remains in place this morning, Saturday.
A police van is also at the scene. Pictures of the scene on Friday show the cordon surrounding a Princes Park regeneration zone sign and tree, with the police van parked on the path.
