Cumbria Police are searching for a teenage girl who has gone missing - and has links to the Gateshead area.
The police force are concerned for the welfare of Alex Cooper, 14, who has gone missing from the Cumbrian town of Barrow. She was last seen on Friday morning. The police said she had links to the Gateshead area, and Northumbria Police is assisting its neighbouring force.
Alex is described as being slim, 5ft 1in and she has blue hair in the style of a buzz cut.

Police said she may be wearing beige trousers and a black puffer jacket. Police officers want anyone with information as to her whereabouts to contact them.
