Police appeal for information after a man was pushed down the stairs and robbed at Waterloo station - (Met Police)

Police are appealing for information after a man was pushed down the stairs and robbed at Waterloo station.

The man was walking towards the Bakerloo Line platforms when he was attacked and had his wallet stolen by a group of men at around 6.20am on Friday, November 21, police said.

The victim struck his head and required hospital treatment, British Transport Police added.

Detectives have released images of four men they would like to speak to in connection with the incident.

CCTV images show four black men wearing thick winter coats with their hoods up. One of the men pictured is wearing a white Superdry coat.

Anyone who recognises them is asked to contact British Transport Police by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 65 of 21 November.

You can also contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
