Police appeal for help to find girl, 15, last seen heading to train station

Police are appealing for help to find a missing 15-year-old girl from Glossop.

The teenager, named only as Kyra, was last seen on Tuesday afternoon (March 14). She was spotted leaving her home and heading towards the town centre.

Police said Kyra was believed to have been heading towards the train station. Officers have been working to find out where she travelled to from there.

The 15-year-old is originally from London, Derbyshire Police said. Officers have been liaising with the Met Police since she went missing, though they believe she could still be in Glossop.

Kyra is described as a black girl who has short, black braided hair. She was last seen wearing a dark-coloured coat with a hood and black trousers or leggings.

Anyone with any information is being urged to come forward. Police can be contacted, quoting incident 713 of March 14, on the Derbyshire Constabulary Facebook page, on Twitter at @DerPolContact on the website or online contact form or by calling 101.
