Emergency services were called to a city centre Travelodge following a concern for safety.
Merseyside Police and The North West Ambulance Service were called to the hotel on The Strand in Liverpool City Centre at 3.10pm on Tuesday, January 3. The ambulance service was also called to the scene, with eyewitnesses seeing crews entering the hotel with a bag of equipment.
Four police cars and one ambulance were at the scene in total. Emergency services were called to the building following a concern for the safety of a woman inside.

There were no reported injuries and officers left the scene at 4.10pm. The woman was taken to hospital by ambulance for assessment shortly after.
A spokesperson from Merseyside Police said: "We were called out to a hotel on The Strand, following reports of a concern for safety of a woman. We were in attendance from around 3.10pm and left the scene at around 4.10pm.
"There were no reported injuries and the female was taken to hospital for assessment."
