People either love or hate Polaris's Slingshot, but haters often turn to lovers after a spin in one—I wouldn't mind a go myself. If you're already a Slingshot fan, there's never been a better time to buy one because, for 2026, the lineup's getting a refresh and an additional range-topping trim level in the Grand Touring. Don't expect huge things, as there were pretty significant updates made to the Slingshot in 2025, but there are still a few tasty new features on offer.
The juiciest thing about the 2026 Slingshot lineup is the reintroduction of the range-topping Grand Touring model. This model is available in limited quantities for 2026 and features a two-tone Viper Black and Green Venom paint scheme, along with a black and green metallic finish. As its name suggests, this Slingshot is made to take you on long journeys and comes as standard with a range of features intended to increase comfort and offer more functionality on longer rides.
The Grand Touring is based on the Slingshot R and uses the same Polaris-built ProStar 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, which puts out 204 HP. All the stopping power comes courtesy of Brembo brakes. Inside the Grand Touring is a Rockford Fosgate Stage 3 Max+ Lighting system, which Polaris states gives a "full 360-degree immersive audio and lighting experience", and that experience is brought to life by two 8-inch side-panel speakers and two 6.5-inch headrest speakers—delivering a total of 700 watts of sound.

It seems as though the party never stops, as the XKGlow Interior Lighting kit, controlled via the Slingshot LED mobile app, allows riders to create the in-ride lighting experience or synchronize the lighting with your music.
The Grand Touring isn't all about turning up the tempo, however; it's also about making long-distance rides as easy as possible, and that's where the subscription-based Ride Command+ comes in. This system offers real-time weather and traffic overlays, along with a vehicle locator and vehicle health monitoring system. The first year of the subscription is free; after that, an annual fee of $99 applies. Heated and cooled seats with seat-mounted controls finish the already plush interior of the Grand Touring.
If you want a Slingshot that'll cover miles almost as comfortably as a car, although far more excitedly, be prepared to part with $41,999.
The updates to the existing range—the S, SL, SLR, and R—are mainly surface-level but worth talking about. For 2026, the SLR and R models receive new five-spoke honeycomb wheels, which are supposed to enhance performance with increased airflow, thus cooling the brakes. Even if they didn't do much in terms of performance, they still look slick. Then there are the new color options.
"By popular demand, we've added our iridescent finish across three models and five colors in 2026, including the all-new Grand Touring", said Josh Hermes, Polaris Slingshot Vice President. "Under sunlight, colors shift with every angle, and the paint truly comes alive, giving the vehicle a one-of-a-kind look that stands out and demands attention."

The new colors include the SL's White Lightning and Sunburst Orange, Blue Rush available on the SL and SLR, and the SLR also comes in Mirage Grey. As the top-of-the-line model, the Slingshot R features blacked-out badging and paint schemes that include Radiant Gray with Red Indy Pearl, and a pearlescent White Crystal paint with a solid Mint Fade. You can also order the R in Midnight Smoke, which offers a matte, metallic paint finish for a more stealth-inspired look.
Prices for the Slingshot S start at $24,999, the SL starts at $28,299, the SLR starts at $31,999, and the R starts at $37,149. But if you want the AudoDrive system, you'll need to spend around $2,000 more than the manual version.
