Zack Polanski’s leadership of the Green Party remains under pressure in the wake of his defeat in the Holborn and St Pancras by-election.

Mr Polanski attempted to put a positive spin on his defeat in Thursday’s poll, saying the Greens had significantly increased their vote share in a usually safe Labour seat.
