Poland grain reprieve offers little comfort to Ukrainian farmer

Volodymyr Bondaruk takes little comfort from Poland's decision to lift a ban on the transit of Ukrainian grain. His mixed dairy and arable farm in western Ukraine has already lost a Polish contract and he doubts it will ever be renewed.

The 54-year-old executive director of his farm, called Pearl of Podillia after the local neighbourhood, is not clear how a new system agreed with Poland - to allow Ukrainian grain and other food to cross the country to export markets - will work.
