Niantic, the troubled mobile gaming firm behind hits including Pokémon Go and Monster Hunter Now, is selling its gaming business to its peer Scopely.
The $3.5 billion (£2.7bn) deal will see Niantic’s talent and titles join Scopely’s portfolio, which includes social mobile games such as Monopoly Go! and Marvel Strike Force.
