'Pokémon' Card Artist Responds to Avery the Poké Kid's Final Jirachi Pull

The Pokémon community is remembering Avery the Poké Kid, a young creator who died from cancer at 12 years old.

Avery died from pancreatic cancer on September 19, 2026. Before his death, he recorded one final "Pokémon Trading Card Game" pack opening. His parents later shared the video to honor his life and his deep love for Pokémon.
