The Oklahoma City Thunder held their annual media screening of their film festival on Thursday, June 8.
Media was shown the 15-minute documentaries “Water Is a Different Ball Game” and “STEPS.”
The first film is about Black alumni from five different high schools competing in the inaugural “River Bowl Classic” rowing competition in OKC. The second film is about local athlete Derek Loccident overcoming the loss of his left foot and qualifying as a Paralympic track runner.
STEPS will be shown publicly on Saturday, June 10 for free at Scissortail Park in downtown OKC.
