Pochettino and ex-Leeds United boss Marcelo Bielsa among bookies' candidates for Aston Villa job

Former Leeds United boss Marcelo Bielsa is among the bookmakers favourites to take over at Aston Villa. The Whites' Premier League rivals parted company with Steven Gerrard following his sides 3-0 defeat against Fulham.

The Villains are level on points with Jesse Marsch side and pressure is mounting on the American head coach following their disappointing defeat to Leicester City. According to BetVictor, Maurico Pochettino is the favourites to take over Villa Park at odds of 3/1, having left PSG earlier this summer.

Villareal boss Unai Emery is 4/1 alongside Thomas Frank and Michael Beale. Bielsa is an outside shout at 16/1, while former Burnley boss Sean Dyche is 6/1 odds to take over.
