
The Prime Minister has said he will deliver on his promise of a “Hillsborough Law”, after campaigners said they remained “in the dark” about the legislation on the 36th anniversary of the disaster.
Sir Keir Starmer had pledged to introduce the law, which it is hoped will include a legal duty of candour on public authorities, before this year’s anniversary of the tragedy, which took place at the FA Cup semi-final on April 15 1989.
