PM Modi says India securing critical minerals, deepening global supply partnerships

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday said India is stepping up efforts to secure critical minerals and forge supply-chain partnerships with multiple countries as it seeks to reduce vulnerabilities in resources vital to the technology and clean energy sectors.

Addressing the nation from the Red Fort on the 80th Independence Day, Modi said several countries were placing their trust in India as it works to strengthen access to critical minerals.
