Prime Minister Narendra Modi, at the Union Cabinet meeting on Sunday, asked his ministerial colleagues to prepare a draft roadmap for the first 100 days and the next five years for the new government.
The Union Ministers would hold meetings with senior officials of their departments to ensure that the roadmap is implemented accordingly, according to government sources.
Given that the Election Commission has announced the schedule for the Lok Sabha election on Saturday, the Cabinet also decided to recommend to the President the issuance of requisite statutory notifications.
