Plumes of smoke have been seen across Bristol this evening after a “substantial” fire started at a home in the city. Fire fighters from three fire stations have been dispatched to the scene in Cotham.
Crews from Temple, Bedminster and Southmead are in Trelawny Road where a blaze started in the upstairs of the property. The occupants of the house have all escaped and no injuries have been reported.
While most of the flames are out, hotspots are still being extinguished. A spokesperson for Avon Fire and Rescue said they had been alerted to the incident around 6.30pm.
