A plumber has shared how people can save "a fortune" on their gas bill by using a simple device on their radiators.

TikTok user djmatrix101, a plumbing and heating engineer, recommended using a thermostatic radiator valve to lower your bill.

This device can be used to turn off, or limit, the flow of gas into the radiator while the central heating is on.
